Well, I was going to explain FPP and MMP using pasta, but this post will instead have to do.
First of all I just wanted to show you a very cool video from a group in the United Kingdom that shows why there First Past the Post system is flawed:
Luckily, New Zealand abandoned FPP in the early 1990's for the much more fairer Mixed Member Proportional representation system. MMP was first used in Germany and NZ is today one of nine countries that uses this system to elect our governments. Wales and Scotland also use it, but they aren't really countries.
